A paper version is sent to our university partner in April.
Required Documents
ü IÉSEG application form
ü Learning agreement
ü Letter of support from sending institution
ü Original transcripts of grades
ü Statement of interest (indicating reasons for applying)
ü 1 photo (passport size: it will be used for your IESEG student card)
ü A birth certificate translated in French (please keep it with you for the registration to French health insurance – for non-European students)

Approval Process
Once the application is approved by the academic advisor, the original acceptance letter is sent to the partner institution (copy by e-mail to the student and the university).
ACADEMIC CALENDAR 2008/2009
Semester 1
Compulsory Orientation week: August 26th to 30th 2008
Beginning and end of semester (including examination period):
September 1st to December 20th 2008
Semester 2
Compulsory Orientation week: January 6th to 10th 2009
Beginning and end of semester (including examination period):
January 12th to May 30th 2009
Exchange students are requested to stay until the end of the scheduled exams. No special early exams can be arranged for them.
ACADEMIC INFORMATION
Academic Levels offered
Undergraduate and Graduate
Language of Instruction
Undergraduate: French and English
Graduate: English
A range of about 200 courses taught in English is available.
Working level of the language in which selected courses are taught is requested. No official test is required for partner universities’ students (French or English).

Course Load
In the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), the normal load for a fulltime student is 30 credits per semester. We recommend exchange students to take a minimum of 20 credits. A Learning Agreement (course list) must be established with the home institution.
Grading System
Grading scale goes from 0 to 20, the lowest passing grade being 8/20.
French as a Foreign Language Courses
French for Beginners, Business French and Advanced Business French courses are offered each semester at no extra cost to our partner universities’ students.
